Foreword

• 2% increase in number of overseas visitors despite of the global financial crisis.
• 13% growth in show space make AMR 09 the largest session ever 
• 639 exhibiting companies covered 51,000 square meters at NCIEC, Beijing

• AUTO MAINTENANCE & REPAIR 2010 is to be held from March. 18th to 21st 2010 in China National Convention Center

With 31,860 buyer’s visits (AMR 2008: 30,617 visits), AUTO MAINTENANCE & REPAIR, the 51st China International Trade Fair for Auto Maintenance Technology and Equipment, Auto Parts and Accessories, (AMR for short) which took place Feb. 25-28, 2009 at New China International Exhibition Center (NCIEC), ended last Saturday with a 2% increase in number of international visitors, accounting to 936 visits. The show space also reached a record high, growing by 13%.

With all these facts, AMR 2009 has become the largest and most popular showcase in auto-aftermarket after over 20 years’ development. It plays an important role in speeding up the country’s auto maintenance and repair industry, and even the auto-aftermarket in Asia and the world. Professional visitors populated the fairgrounds consistently during all tradeshow days with high expectations to see many new brands, products and technologies. These expectations were clearly met and even surpassed by the 639 international exhibiting brands. With its rapidly growing influence on the world stage, China’s auto maintenance and repair industry has attracted much attention from throughout the world. Despites the ongoing global financial crisis, international visitors have showed great purchasing interests in Chinese products.

Overseas industry associations and media like French Vehicle Equipment Industries (FIEV) and French Bodywork Federation for PCs and HIV (FFC), AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS MANUFACTURERS ASSOCATION OF INDIA, (ACMA), SOCIETY OF INDIAN AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURERS, (SIAM), Australian Bodyshop News, and Car & Tech from Korea, all visited AMR 2009 and discussed cooperation opportunities with local counterparts.

In total, AMR 2009 covered 51,000 square meters with products by well-known brands like Balance, Bantam, Beissbarth, Bosch, BG, Car-o-Liner, Che-Rafe, DANAHER, DGS, Ever-Eternal, G&P, Guangda, Jingbenteng, Jinhua, Launch, MAHA, Midtronics, Rotary Lift, SPX,Toyota Tsusho, Wedgeclamp, YATO, Yingzhiyin, Zonda, etc.

As a tradeshow platform with a clear focus on benefitting the auto maintenance and repair equipment and tools manufacturers, auto accessory producers, distributors, repair shops, diagnostic stations, etc, AMR 2009 offered a very diverse program of side events, featuring forums, seminars and new products releases. Organized by China Auto Maintenance Equipment Industry Association (CAMEIA),and Beijing Traders-Link International Exhibition Co., Ltd., Forum on Global Auto-Aftermarket 2009 provided a platform for the leading local enterprises of Zonda, Bantam, Tongrun, Jinhua and overseas industry associations and media to share the recent trend in their represented area and discuss development strategies to prepare against the worldwide economic downturn.
 
Exhibitors, trader media, and associations all spoke highly of AMR 2009, sharing the view that it witnessed the rapid development of auto maintenance and repair industry in China and Asia-Pacific region’s and confirmed the rise of Made-in-China products.

Ending successfully in 2009, AUTO MAINTENANCE & REPAIR 2010, the 53rd China International Trader Fair for Auto Maintenance Technology and Equipment, Auto Parts and Accessories, is to be held in the China National Convention Center March 18-21, 2010. CNCC is located at the heart of Olympic Green, right next to the Bird Nest (China National Stadium) and Water Cube (National Aquatics Center). It's only 30 minutes drive to the airport and the subway station is connected with CNCC's basement which enables people to quickly go to the city center, the airport, the Beijing Railway station, central business district.

With the most advanced facilities in CNCC, we believe AMR 2010 will bring more harvest and benefit for all participants in auto-aftermarket both home and abroad.
